Big Cc Racing Turbo Busa

How much is enough? That's normally the question that many will ask. How much will you use then? Sometimes, when common sense is thrown out the window along with tens of thousands of dollars, we'll get to see amazing feats of engineering. For this instance a big-bored, stroked and turbo-ed hayabusa built by Big Cc Racing.

Turbos for hayabusa comes in 3 horsepower ranges, Stage1 (Street) : up to 250hp, Stage 2 (Pro-street) : up to 500hp and Stage 3 (Ultra street/race) : 500hp and upwards. The current stage of development is over 700hp for the hayabusa ultra kit. That requires major engine and chassis rework to ensure that the bike can hold together with that amount of horsepower.

Below are pictures of one of the bigger turbos that the Big Cc Racing are building. Expectations on the dyno are of 600 to 700 bhp from its 1600cc engine. Here are some sneak photos prior to finishing. Check out the goodies on this bike.

Mocal oil/water exchanger, samco hoses, dual wastegates etc.

Big CC CNC Plenum & Billet fuel rail supporting 1200cc injectors, billet Aeromotive regulator & billet Aeromotive post filter with big bore Goodridge fittings all round.

GT40/94R Big Impeller turbo capable of 800bhp in car application. Both sides are rose jointed for aded support. Billet sump & Goodridge oil feed to turbine.

Motec M400 engine management & AMS1000 boost control & also water injection tank. Note quick release Limo connectors.
Inside Big CC Swingarm Weldon monster fuel pump, Aeromotive pre pump filter suspended by Ohlins reworked shock absorber. Air tank for boost & shifter also in the Arm

Sequential firing high flow header pipes made in 321 stainless steel with dual wastegate for twin entry turbine. Note billet Pair block offs

Mocal oil cooler kit, NLR oil return pump, ohlins suspension. Twin Tial 38mm wastegates with triple dump pipes

Big CC Standard triple clamps with Spondon risen clip ons. & Motec Sport Dash logger

Big CC Swingarm. RC Component rear wheel

The Bike has so far made 602bhp at 30psi of boost on the dyno. It is expected once run in to map up to 45psi of boost which should see over 700bhp.
