Project Radial Front (Part 1)

Continuing from here, I'll be showing you what actually is in that big brown box that flew across the Pacific Ocean to my place.
Weighing 20-odd kilograms, the package costs a bomb to ship over from the States and by EMS somemore. Major damage to the wallet!
Looking inside the box, it's a complete GSXR1000 K6 full front end (ie. the triple clamps, clip-ons, switches, steering damper, clutch lever, radial master pump, brake calipers, brake hose and the forks.)

Top and bottom triple clamp securing the front forks.

The engine kill switch along with the radial master cylinder and right clip-on

The brake calipers (I was hoping to get gold though, but too bad for the newer years the calipers comes in black only.)

How the calipers will look mounted on the forks.

The above are the pictures of everything that came in the package. Following the unpacking, the next entry up will be on the fitment of the front end to the Hayabusa. Problems are expect but not as much as when it really came up. More on the next part (2) of Project Radial Front. And the concluding part (3) of the Project entries will be the ride review of the front on the bike.

For those interested in this similar project feel free to check with me the details and the following are the parts required.
1. GSXR1000 K3-K6 Forks and Calipers (K3/K4 brakes calipers are not interchangeable with K5/K6)
2. Front Axle

5mm spacers from Motovation

3. 5mm spacers for the bigger Hayabusa brake rotors (or you can choose to use the 310mm rotors off the GSXR1000 K3/K4, K5/K6 has different mounting holes so will not fit the stock Hayabusa rim.)
4. Thin collar of 0.5mm to wrap around the lower part of the front forks for better fitment with the lower Hayabusa triple clamp
5. 10mm longer brakelines
(If you want to use SS brakelines, or you can also choose to go with the stock GSXR1000 brakelines)
6. 7mm Axle collar (You can choose to use the GSXR1000 front wheel for lesser hassle)
7. Brackets for fitting the stock fender to the forks (You can choose to use the GSXR1000 fender for lesser hassle)

Estimated cost of this project: Under $1.5k SGD (Everything up within 8 days with express shipping and GST)
Estimated time required: 2 hours flat (inclusive of brakes bleeding - If you know what you are doing)
Recommended place for doing this project if you are interested: K&T Accessory Pte Ltd - Clifford (Good workmanship and has the necessary experience for this conversion)

Special Thanks: Maverick (Sourcing for brackets for the fender), Chris and Eleen (Staying with us till near midnight for the installation of the front)
